The following is a transcript of Rebecca Beall’s affirmative prayer on Sunday, May 5, 2019:
Please join me in this affirmative prayer. As we just take a moment and digest the genius and the beauty of all that we saw and we heard and experienced, we want to remember and know that this is God. This is God! God is what this feeling of love and beauty and divine connection is – this is all that God is. God is all of this and so much more. God is the end and I know that I am one with this Beauty. I know that I am one with this community. I know that I am one with God, for everything that God is, I am. And so today as we move forward into bringing this commitment and expression of beauty into our lives, we are called to acknowledge the beauty of ourselves as expressions of God and to celebrate the expressions of God that we see everywhere around us, that we see in our children’s smiles, that we see in the 360 of nature all around us, that we see in every Divine expression of ourselves and even in those potholes of life – there is Beauty, there is Divinity and right this minute, we know that we choose to see that. And for that I am so, so truly grateful. I am so grateful for all the genius words that I’ve heard spoken today. I’m so grateful for all of the community to share it with. I’m so grateful for this day, for this moment and for the knowledge that we are staking our claim on Beauty. We are staking our claim on living beautiful, joyful, expressively wonderful lives! Ah, taking a moment to just know that! So I release this Word into the Law that can only, possibly say “Yes, yes you gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous beauties, yes!” And together we say, and so it is!
